King Kare

I know that it has been a minute and I promise that I am going to do so much better in the next decade! I have been busy AND productive though and I’m super excited about what’s next for the blog and beyond.

Yesterday, I went to the Ujamaa fest and it was pretty dope. The Ujamaa fest is a Kwanzaa celebration with vendors and summit talks on different topics of concern within our communities. The fest was here in Atlanta,GA and the best part was the vendors came from all over making it a great experience. There were a host of vendors with all different creative avenues and there was something there for everybody…even the kids. I definitely plan to go again. The main reason that I went was because of a particular vendor that I follow on Instagram. We support one another’s pages and I had to take the opportunity to meet this King in person.

I absolutely love oils and butters and incense and candles. Any one or a combination of these items can set the mood for whatever you are trying to accomplish. I always seek out fragrances that aren’t too much. I like scents that lasts, but are not overpowering. I have found that balance in the purchases I made with the Keith Clark Collection. Based out of Dallas, TX this King has created a line of incense cones, oils, lip balms, body washes, body butters among other delectable options that will have you so relaxed or energized; leaving your skin so smooth you have no reason to ever be ashy! Prior to my purchases, I asked questions on what was best for clarity, stress relief and insomnia because those are my struggle areas right now. I was educated on what each fragrance offers, there are descriptions on the packaging as to what each item can assist you with and they do what they say they do. The oils that I bought are very light but they have a great feel and aroma to them. And a little definitely goes a long way. It was even shared with me that one of his scents has been known to help with putting the babies to bed because they can’t resist the sweet lull of the subtle aroma!
